About Me
Having been asked ‘what will you do when you retire’ I always respond by saying ‘why should I wait – I prefer to do it now’ – so needless to say I have and am pushing the boundaries every time I sit down and spend time and effort studying ‘a creative approach to textiles’. After starting at tertiary level I moved on to City & Guilds then the Julia Caprara School of Textiles and now OCA.
My expectations are that by continuing to apply life long learning lessons such as this module provides I will increase my knowledge and experience, be recognised for my achievements and obtain credits for all my hard work.
Distance learning allows me to organise and use my time as I am able. It takes a dedicated and disciplined approach to study – that’s why I am so motivated.
Together with my wife we own and operate a Bernina Dealership with a very challenging retail and commercial background – allied to and supportive of the textile industry. Who knows where it will lead.
